Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) As the Seal of Prophethood

Allah has completed his Deen.

Allah says: “Today I have completed your Deen”
[Surah Maida (5),ayah 3]

Allah not only has completed the Deen but also protected it.

Allah says : “I have revealed this advise and I shall protect it “
[Al Hjir (15), ayah 9]

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) was sent for all people, his Prophethood is universal.

Allah says: “(oh Prophet) I have sent you towards all people as bearer of good news and as a Warner”
[Surah Saba (34), ayah 28]

Anyway Allah `s Deen is complete and protected, in other words we should say Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam’s) Prophethood is complete, protected and so wide that we don’t need any Prophet till the judgment day.

Allah says : “Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) is not father amongst any of you men, though he is a messenger of Allah and Khatim ul Nabeeyen”
[Surah Ahzaab (33), ayah 40]

What does Khatim ul Nabeeyen mean we don’t have to search in the dictionary, as Quran was revealed so was its explanation.

Allah says : “it ‘s (Quran) explanation is also my duty”
[Surah Qayama (75), ayah 19]

This revealed explanation came to Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam), and to deliver it to the Ummah was his duty.

Allah says : “(oh Prophet) we have revealed this advise on you so you could explain it for the people”
[Surah Al Nahl] (16), ayah 44]

As the explanation of the Quran is Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-Wa-Sallam’s) duty, so we should see how he has explained it.

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) said : “There will be thirty (30) liars in my Ummah, all will claim that they are Prophets even thou I am Khatim ul Nabeeyen, there is no prophet after me “
[Tirmizi (Abwaab ul Fiten) & Abu Dawood (Kitab ul Fiten), declared Sahih by Imam Tirmizi]

From this hadith we can get the meaning of Khatim ul Nabeeyen that “There is no prophet after him”.

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) said: “There is nothing left from Prophethood but Mubasshirat”

His companions (Raziallah Tala Anho) asked : “what is Mubasshirat”

He (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) said : “Good dream”
[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab ul Taabeer]

Good dream is 1 part of 46 parts of prophethood.

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) said: “Good dream is one (1) part of forty six (46) parts”
[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab ul Taabeer]

Ahmadi Ulema say that “Mubasshirat” is the Prophethood we believe in, but the question is can a person having one part of forty six parts of Prophethood only be called a Prophet even though he doesn’t have the rest forty five (45) Parts ?

There are many hadiths regarding the end of Prophets and Messengers.

It should also be noted that:

Allah says : “He (Allah ) has named you Muslimeen before and in this (Quran)”
[Surah Hajj: ayah 78 ]

Allah chose the name ‘Muslimeen’ for the previous ummahs and even in the Quran the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) is given the name ‘Muslimeen’.

The followers of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) weren’t named ‘Muhammadi’ but were named ‘Muslimeen’.

Followers of Eisa (Alaihi salam) didn’t call themselves Eisai or Messiahi but instead had declared that they were Muslims.
[Surah Aale Imran, ayah 52]

When Queen Saba accepted Islam due to the propagation of Suleman (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam), she didn’t call herself ‘sulemani’ but instead declared herself ‘Muslim’.
[Surah Naml, ayah 44]

Then what kind of name is “Ahmadi” ? Which was made after the name of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

The new nabi or messiah (Nauzubillah) gave the people a new name which was unheard of before and has no proof from the Quran or Sunnah.

For those who want to believe the slightest things contain signs which mark a clear distinction between the truth and falsehood.
