Why Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen Only?

Jamaat ul Muslimeen has revived the unity of Islam, by following the way of Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam). As you know that every Jamaat considers sectarianism and firqabandi as a torment of Allah but all are still persisting with it and there is no sign of unity. In this gloom there was only one way of bringing the followers of Islam to join around the one nucleus of Quran and Saheeh Hadeeth. That one way could only be the way of Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam).

Jamaat ul Muslimeen practices the commandments of Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa and Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) is nothing new, it is the genuine and original Islam that we are practicing..... The way we practice the different teachings of Islam are derived only from Quran and Saheeh Ahaadith. Is following these two sources of Islam a

Bid'at?

Jamaat ul Muslimeen was the name of the Jamaat which was founded by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam).

The following Hadith which at one hand signifies the importance of the attendance of women in Eid Prayer (which for your information is declared Makrooh by Fuqaha of Ahnaaf! Nauzu Billahi Min Zalik) on the other hand proves our point that the Jamaat during the era of the Sahaba Radi Allahu Anhum was Jamaat ul Muslimeen.

Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) when questioned by the Sahabiat (Radi Allahu Anhunna) regarding attending Salat ul Eid said:

(Even) menstruating women should participate in Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen and their prayers and should keep away form their Musalla (praying place).

(Saheeh Bukhari Kitab ul Eidein)

It is quite clear form the above Hadith that all the believers at the time of Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) were members of Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen, so how can Jamaat ul Muslimeen be a new firqah as somne people suggest?

We are inviting you to the Islam of 1400 years ago which was clear of any innovations and Bid'at.

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi WaSallam) said: The worst deeds of all are innovations and every innovation is bidah and every bidah is deviation and every deviation will be in hellfire.
(Narrated by Nasai Vol.1 pg 179 Sanad Saheeh)

Our disageement on any issue has to be decided according to the Quran and Sunnah, whoever presents the proofs from the Quran and Saheeh Hadeeth shall prevail Insha Allah.

We had all proclaimed the Shahada when we said La Illaha IllAllah Muhammad ur Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam).

We will all be questioned about only three things in the grave:

1.Who is your Lord?

Answer: My Lord is Allah.

2.What is your deen?

Answer: My deen is Islam. (Are we ready for the answer? Is it not that we are following different Madahib which were not present at the time of Muhammad (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam), Islam was completed at the Hajjatul Wada {Surah Al Maidah:3}If Islam was COMPLETED at that time as in the Quran then can there be additions in the teachings of Islam? The answer is clear, if the Quran says that deen is complete then there can be absolutely no second opinion. Please ponder over this aspect! The Deobandis believe that Ijtihaad and Qayas are part of Deen which means that deen is incomplete. This belief is absolutely against the Quran.

3.What do you know of this person (Muhammad Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam)?

Answer: He is (Muhammad Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam), he is the prophet of Allah who came to us with clear teachings and we followed him (only).

There are countless examples where the command of Muhammad (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) has been over ruled by the sayings of Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahmatullah Alaihi) . Imam Sahab never wished for this but the generations who followed made him and the other three Imams the Mustaqil Biz Zaat Mutaa (the final authority).

We are not against the famous four Imams, as the Imams themselves instructed the people to follow Quran and Sunnah only.

For example:

Imam Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is not permitted for anyone to accept our views if they do not know from where we got them.

(Ibn Abideen in his Footnotes on Al-Bahr ar-Raa'iq 6/293, Talaash-e-Haq pg. 90 & Sifatu Salat-n-Nabi)

Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Do not follow my opinion; neither follow the opinion of Malik, nor Shafi, nor Awzaa'i, nor Sawri, but take from where they took.

(Fulaani pg. 113, Ibn al-Qayyim in I'laam 2/302, Talaash-e-Haq pg. 38 & Sifatu Salat-n-Nabi)

Imam Shafi (may Allah have mercy on him): The Muslims are unanimously agreed that if a sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) is made clear to someone, it is not permitted for him to leave it for the saying of anyone else.

(Fulaani pg. 68, Ibn al-Qayyim 2/361 & Sifatu Salat-n-Nabi)

Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him): Truly I am only a mortal: I make mistakes (sometimes) and I am correct (sometimes). Therefore, look into my opinions: all that agrees with the Book and the Sunnah accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it.

(Fulaani pg. 72 & Sifatu Salat-n-Nabi)

It is necessary to refer all matters of disagreement between Muslims to Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa and His Messenger Muhammad (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam). This is important for the Muslim to know and implement because it indicates the complete submission to Allah without which one would not be a Muslim.

Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa says:

"If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam), if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is best

and most commendable in the end"

(Surah An Nisa ayat 59)

"And whatever you disagree upon, its decision is with Allah"

(Surah As Shoora ayat 10)

What is mentioned in these verses regarding referring to Allah means referring to His Book; and referring to the Messenger (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) means referring to him in person when alive, to his Sunnah after his death. The third verse of surah Al Maaidah- "Today I have perfected for you your religion!" is clear proof that the Shari'ah has been perfected and completed. It covers everything that the believers may disagree upon concerning their religion, from the smallest to the greatest, whether hidden or evident. And if there were not a clear solution to their disagreement in Allah's Book and His Messenger's (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) Sunnah, or if they were not enough for that, then He would not have ordered us referral to them.

Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa says:

"Follow that which has been revealed upon you from Allah and do not follow any other friends besides it. Little do you recollect!"
(Surah Al-A’raaf: Ayah 3)

Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) said:

"O people for sure, I am leaving among you these (two things), if you hold them firmly, you would never go astray. Those two things are Allah's book and the way of his prophet."

(Narrated by Haakim in Al Mustadrak with a Saheeh Sanad)

Shari’ah is the Judge and is not to be judged: This is its power and its role. This means that the Shari’ah rules and judges whether people's sayings and doings are correct or not. It judges between them when in conflict and disagreement. It confirms the right and abolishes the falsehood. This fact is violated through the blind following of Religious Scholars also known as Taqleed e Shakhsi which the Deobandis strictly believe in.

Allah the exalted says: They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only one Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!

(Surah At Taubah: 31)

In this ayah Allah declares that the Jews and Christians had taken the following people as their lords (Rab) besides Allah:

1. Their rabbis and monks.

2. Messiah son of Maryam (Alaihi salaam)

Their worship of Messiah is well known, but how did they take their rabbis and monks as their lords? This is explained in the following hadith:

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: They did not worship them (in the manner of offering Salaah and fasting) but (the worship was in the sense) whatever theeir rabbis and monks made halaal for them, they considered it halaal, whatever they made haraam for them, they considered it haraam.

(Tirmidhi Kitab ut Tafseer, Tafseer of Surah Taubah, declared Hasan by Imam Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) explained that they have taken them as your lords by following their religious rulings blindly and disregarded the true shariah.

From the above it is evident that to accept anyone's religious verdicts blindly is a form of Shirk.

This can also be found in the following ayah:

Or have they partners who have prescribed for them any part in religion that Allah does not sanction? And were it not for the word of judgement, decision would have certainly been given between them; and surely the unjust shall have a painful punishment.

(Surah Shoora: 21)

After reading these proofs from Quran and Sunnah, it is obligatory for us to ask proof from Quran and Sunnah for any religious verdict and take the time to examine it in order to save ourselves from the position described in the previously quoted hadith, we simply can't take any scholars or Imam's words as evidence in matters of Shariah.

From the above ayah and hadith it is evident that there is no room for Taqleed e Shakhsi in Islam as it invites towards following any particular Imam blindly without inquiring about the proof.

The true definition of Taqleed which the Muqallideen  believe in as found in the books of Fiqh clarifies the point further:

"Taqleed is following the Imam in such a way that the Muqallid does not have the right to ask for a proof from his Imam with regard to his ruling in any matter. It is as if follower has binded himself to the Imam by a rope around his neck."(Hashia Hussamee)

Further more the most dangerous aspect of this taqleed can be judged from the following excerpts:

Abul Hassan Obaid Kharkhi writes that: "All those hadiths which go against our Ashaab (fuqaha Hanafiya) will be considered abrogated or they will be considered that any such hadith is against another hadith, then other evidence or recommendation on the basis on which our ashaab cited as evidence will be brought forward or will try to remove the contradiction." (Usool-e-Karkhi Asal, pg 29)

The above mentioned fabricated principal is not for ahadith only but for Quran as well.

Abul Hassan Obaid Kharkhi also writes that: "Any ayah which goes against our fuqaha will be considered abrogated (Mansookh) or will be considered recommended, first of all meaning of the ayah will be changed so the contradiction is removed." (Usool-e-Kharkhi Asal, pg 28)

The above statement needs no elaboration and such a belief is without, an iota of doubt, clear Kufr.

The Deobandis for instance are an offshoot of the Hanafi Maslak and these different schools of thought have divided Islam into many sects and firqas. They believe they are on Tauheed but from the above quotes you shall easily understand where they stand?

Now a few points regarding the evil of sectarianism and firqabandi.

Dissension and Ikhtilaaf in the absence of clear proofs is not a good sign but sticking to dissension even after getting clear proofs against it (dissension) is an unpardonable offence.

When one tries to take a look at the ancestral religions he immediately lands in a complicated position as to which of the sects is right and true! Certainly it is evident that all ancestral religions cannot be true. All the sects claim that they are right and are on the true path although there exist, tremendous differences of madhab, deeds, legalities and demarcations (Halal and Haram) among them. This situation demands that all sectarian religions and judgments of scholars and spiritual leaders must be judged in the light of the divine criterion i.e. Quran and Sunnah. Those found in accordance (proven) with this criterion should be considered acceptable otherwise rejected straight away. Here we invite our reader's attention to a situation which is totally against the above fundamental, that is existing ancestral religions have been made the criterion to judge the Quran and Sunnah which is the divine rule and guidance. This is done only in order to suit the commandments and actions of each sect and make them acceptable to their respective followers. Isn't it a crime and won't it lead to hell? Will Allah excuse this? Can Allah's religions remain intact in the presence of all these sects? Definitely not, hence this is the high time that we must put a check on our religious activities and ourselves. This is the only way to end disunity and come to a point to unite the Ummah as wanted by Allah in the following verse:

Follow that which is sent down unto you from your lord, and follow no friends beside it. Little do you recollect!
(Surah Al Aaraaf : 3)

It is quite clear form the above verse that only divine revelations are to be followed and those are nothing but the Quran and Hadeeth (Sunnah). And one will agree that the words of ancestors are not at all revealed by Allah. Hence, all such religions and sectarian paths must be avoided as demanded by Allah in the above-mentioned verse. Leaving aside the path designed and bestowed by Allah is nothing but dissension and Dissension is Allah's torment. Can one afford to enjoy Allah's torment? We seek Allah's refuge from His torment. Ameen.

Allah the Exalted says:

Says: He is able to send punishment upon you from above you or form beneath your feet, or to bewilder you with dissension and make you taste the tyranny one of another. See how we display the revelations so that they may understand.
(Surah: An'aam, Verse: 65)

It is very easy to understand from the above verse that sectarianism is Allah's torment and hence, one must seek Allah's refuge form sectarianism. May Allah have mercy on all of us and give us the right guidance to understand Islam (Ameen).

Surprisingly a fabricated Hadith: Ikhtilaafo Ummati Rahma "The disunity of my Ummah is a divine blessing" has been propagated by the leaders of such sects which is absolutely against the Quran and Sunnah-the divine law, which gives the lesson of unity in every respect and terms disunity as infidelity and Kufr.

Ikhtilaafo Ummati Rahma is a Maudoo (fabricated) Hadeeth.

IS IKHTILAAF A BLESSING?

Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa says:

Lo! As for those who sunder their religion and became firqa's, you (O Prophet!) have no concern with them, their case will go to Allah. Who then will tell them what they used to do?

(Surah: Al An'aam : 159)

Allah has forbidden this Ummah from dividing into sects like the people of the book as under:

And be not as those who separated and disputed after the clear proofs had come unto them. For such there is an awful doom.
(Surah Aal Imran : 105)

And hold fast, all of you together to the cable of Allah and do not separate
(Surah Aal Imran : 103)

This is Allah's clear command and order, which reflects the importance of unity in Islam.

One cannot find any lead to the proof of the existence of any sects during the days of prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) through any source i.e. Quran or Hadeeth. Because sects bearing different names as Ahl-e-Quran, Ahl-e-Hadeeth, Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, Hambli, Fatmi/Shia etc. came into existence much and much after the Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam).

It is clear that true Islam can only flourish after sectarianism is ended and as such one must escape from dissension and sectarianism and hold the Quran and Sunnah firmly.

Allah, the Exalted says:

And if your lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation. Yet they cease not differing. Save him on whom you Lord has bestowed His mercy, and for that He did create them. And the word of your lord shall be fulfilled: verily I shall fill hell with the jinn and mankind together.
(Surah: Hood: 118-119)

It is clear form the above verse that:

i. Allah wishes to see everyone as one group but He does not force people to unite.

ii. People will always remain in disunity and dissention.

iii. Only such people will be saved form disunity on which Allah will bestow His mercy.

iv. Allah has created people to bestow his mercy on them but they do not make themselves worthy of it and pave the way towards hell.

v. Allah will fill hell with dissentients.

Thus dissension is not at all divine blessing, rather it is a torment not only in this world but in the hereafter as well. And that is why Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) said:

Do not dispute because the people before you disputed and were ruined.
(Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim)

When Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) sent Ma'az (Radi Allah u Anh)and Abu-Musa (Radi Allah u Anh) towards Yemen he instructed them:

Remain united and do not dissent.
(Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim)

It is quite clear form the Quran and Sunnah that dissensions not Islam at all. Reviewing the above ayaat and ahaadith, if dissension is divine mercy (as per the fabricated Hadith) then where is unity to be placed? Is unity Allah's torment? Of course not. Then we must unite and strive hard to end sectarianism and save ourselves from dissension which is Allah's torment.

The prophet of Allah said, giving us the caution:

i.You would definitely tread the same path which was trodden by the people before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they had entered into the hole of a lizard you would follow them in this also.

The companions of the prophet asked:

Do you mean Jews and Christians (by your words)?

The prophet replied: Who else (than those two religious groups)?
(Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim)

ii. Beware the people of the book split up into seventy-two sects, and this Ummah will be split up into seventy-three: seventy-two of them will go to hell and one of them will go to paradise, and it is Al-Jamaah.
(Reported by Abu Daawood and is saheeh).

This Aljamaah has been clearly named in a number of Saheeh Ahaadith:

Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) said:

"May Allah glorify the face of the person who hears my hadeeth then memorizes it and conveys it to one who has not heard it, and many learned people do not have the understanding and many learned people convey it to one who has better understanding then themselves, there are three things upon which the heart of true believer shell never deceive:

1. Performing good deeds for the sake of Allah alone,

2. Obeying the Ameer, and

3. Adhering to Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen.

And truly their propagation is victorious upon everyone except upon themselves alone."

(Hakim in Al Mustadrak Vol.1 pg.87 with a Saheeh Sanad)

Imam Hakim said: "In this context, a Jamaah of the companions of the Prophet have narrated this hadeeth, among them are Umar, Usman, Ali, Abdullah Ibn Masood, Ma'az Ibn Jabal, Abdullah Ibn Umar, Abdullah Ibn Abbas, Abu Huraira, Anas (may Allah be pleased with them all); and the hadeeth narrated by Nauman Ibn Basheer (may Allah be pleased with him) is Saheeh on the condition of Imam Muslim" (Hakim Vol.1 pg.88).

Apart from the above stated ahadith, this hadith is also narrated by Zaid Ibn Sabit, Jubair Ibn Mut'im, Jabir and Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with them all).

In the era of sectarianism, the true Jamaah would be Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen:

Narrated Hudhaifa Ibn Al-Yaman (Radi Allah u Anhuma):

The people used to ask Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest the evil should overtake me.

So I said: O Allah's Prophet! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) evil era, then Allah brought to us this good (Islam); will there be any evil after this good?

He said: Yes

I said: will there be any good after that evil?

He replied: Yes, but it will be tainted

I asked: What will be its taint?

He replied: (There will be) some people who will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others.

I asked: Will there be any evil after that good?

He said: (a time will come when some) people will invite (towards the wrong path) as if they are standing on the doors of hell and inviting (people) to enter it. They will throw into it all such persons who will accept their invitation (that is, he who obeys them will certainly go to hell).

Hudhaifa (Radi Allah u Anh) said: O messenger of Allah will you let me know something about their attributes and symbols?

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: They will be from amongst our nation and will speak in our language.

Hudhaifa (Radi Allah u Anh): said: what should I do, if I survive up to that moment? What is your order for me (in this regard)?

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: Stick to Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen and its Imam (Leader).

Hudhaifa (Radi Allah u Anh) asked: What if there is neither Jamaah nor their Imam? (What should I do then)?

Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied: Keep yourself away from all sects, even if you have to live upon roots of trees and you shall have to remain in this state till your death reaches you.

(Saheeh Bukhari Kitab ul Fitan & Saheeh Muslim Kitab ul Imaarah)

In a hadeeth narrated in Ibn Majah the words are:

You must adhere to Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen and its Imam.

(Ibn Majah Vol.2 pg.1317 Sanad: Saheeh)

Thus, it is imperative for this Ummah to unite according to the Sunnah and the Sunnah upon which unity can be achieved is Jamaat ul Muslimeen- not just for names sake but for the Aqaid, practices and every aspect of Islam, to strictly follow the Quran and Sunnah and not vain desires either of their own or of those they hold in respect.

(O prophet!) No, by your Lord, they are not believers until they make you their judge in the disputes that break out between them and then do not resist what you decide and submit themselves [to you] completely. (Surah An-Nisa: 65)

May Allah keep us all on the right path. Aameen.

Please note:

We follow our Ameer in matters of administartion and within the frame of Quran and Saheeh Ahaadith only.

Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said:

Listening and obeying (the Ameer's order) is compulsory on a Muslim whether he likes it or dislikes it with the condition that he isn't ordered to commit a sin.
(Saheeh Bukhari Kitab ul Ahkaam Vol. 9 pg 78 and Saheeh Muslim Kitab ul Imaraah Vol. 2 pg 131)

If a slave who doesn't have a nose (such a slave) is appointed Ameer over you and he leads you according to the Book of Allah then listen and obey (to his orders).
(Saheeh Muslim Kitab ul Imaraah Vol. 2 pg 131)

Thus Jamaat ul Muslimeen obeys the command of the Ameer within the radius of the Quran and Sunnah and no command against these two is ever obeyed. This is unlike the Taqleed of the Aimma which is adhered to even if clear proofs from the Quran and Hadeeth are shown against the fatwa of the Imam.

Secondly, the Ameer is only obeyed till he his alive and not after death, but the Aimma are still being obeyed without a question even though they have passed away centuries ago. May Allah shower His Mercy upon the Aimma.

Thus there is no comparison between the Taqleed of Aimma and the obedience of Ameer.

It should be clear that when Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen is proven from Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam 's time then there is no need for giving proof for Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen in any scholar's era, still as a precaution for argument's sake we are giving proof from Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahmatullah Alaihi):

Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahmatullah Alaihi) said: When a person dies who has no inheritor his belongings should be for Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen…
(Alhidaya, Kitab ul Alseer, page 603)

Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahmatullah Alaihi) said : Taking of qisaas without hard work and power is not possible and hard work with out Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen and Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen's Imam isn't possible.
(Alhidaya, page 585, kitab ul alseer)

From the above it is abundantly clear that the Deobanids are not following the commandments of Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa, Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam) and not even of their own Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahmatullah Alaihi).

While Jamaat ul Muslimeen strictly practices the commandments of Allah Subhana hu Wa Ta’alaa and Rasoolullah (Sall Allah u Alaihi wa Sallam).

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalameen.
